A Little About Me...

I was born in Decoto, now known as Union City, and raised in the Irvington area of Fremont, before Fremont was even an incorporated city.  I attended Fremont public schools and graduated from Irvington High School.

I have been a Realtor® for 23+ years, I am the broker/owner of MasterKey Real Estate Mission, Fremont. I was the 1987 Rookie of the Year, the 1990 CRS of the Year, and the recipient of the 2006 & 2008 John A. Deadrich Distinguished Service Awards, and I’ve earned the following designations and certifications:

  • CRS  (Certified Residential Specialist)
  • GRI  (Graduate of REALTOR Institute)
  • SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist)
  • e-PRO
  • ASP  (Accredited Staging Professional)
  • ABR (Accredited Buyers' Representative)
  • GREEN
  • At Home with Diversity
  • CNE  (Certified Negotiation Expert)
  • SFR (Short Sale Foreclosure Resource)

I was honored to be included in the May 2010 issue of California Real Estate regarding the benefits of earning designations along with CAR President Steve Goddard  http://www.onlinedigitalpubs.com/display_article.php?id=386284

I’ve been a Professional Standards Council member since 1990- chairing the council twice; I am the author and presenter for several topics on the Speaker’s Bureau, I have served as President of the BayEast Association Foundation. I served as the 2008 Chair of the Mediation Council, and as a CAR Director since 2008, and I am the current Association Treasurer.

For the past couple of years I have had the privilege to present the NAR Code of Ethics training to new Association members.

What I Stand For

I have demonstrated my dedication to BayEast members on the Professional Standards Council since 1990, including facilitating the implementation of our Mediation program. I am proficient in the knowledge, training and enforcement of the Code of Ethics and MLS rules. Everyone benefits when rules are honored and everyone is effected when rules are violated.

My Vision as President Elect

The office of the President Elect is a year of preparation to become President the following year while supporting the current President and his vision for the Association.

As President Elect, I will carry out all functions and obligations as outlined for the office of President Elect in the Bay East Corporate Policy and Procedures manual, as well as any additional duties assigned by the Executive Committee or the President.

My vision as the 2011 President Elect is to:

1) Support policies that ensure the Association continues to be prudent, fiscally conservative, and able to maintain the current sound fiscal health.

2) Help members understand and take advantage of the membership values we currently have available.

3) Support the expansion of services when practical and beneficial to all members.

I have been an independent broker owner of my own office since 1991. I know first hand the needs of independant offices and will bring that voice to the Executive Committee as President Elect.

I am an effective communicator and an advocate for due process and equality for all members. I welcome your questions and concerns now and in the future.  I ask for your vote so I may serve as your very qualified President Elect representing the Bay East Realtor® community.

I thank you for your support!!
